Muscat: His Excellency Mohsen bin Khamis Al Balushi, Advisor to the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion and Commissioner-General of the Sultanate at the Expo, presided over the opening of the Sultanate of Oman’s pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, in the presence of several Omani officials and heads of Gulf pavilions participating in the Expo.
His Excellency stated that the Sultanate of Oman’s pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai is distinguishable in terms of design and content because it is inspired by a specific icon, the frankincense tree, which represents the pavilion’s story, and that the Sultanate has strictly adhered to the parameters set by the Expo 2020 Dubai Organising Committee.
“In its participation, the Sultanate is always keen to focus on the Sultanate’s achievements in various economic, cultural, social, and scientific fields,” he added.
His Excellency stated that visitors to the Sultanate of Oman pavilion will see a rich content of the accomplishments of various Omani institutions, embodying the Oman 2040 vision and informing them about distinguished business models and various young Omani initiatives that highlight the Omani’s connection with his history and identity.
